This Privacy Policy explains how LORA Security ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and web platform.

To provide you with our security monitoring and management services, we may collect the following categories of information:

Personal Identifiers: Full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and security license details.
Verification Data: Phone numbers used for OTP (One-Time Password) verification and credentials required for authenticating access.
Operational Data: Incident reports, shift check-ins, time-off requests, and notes or documents uploaded directly to the platform.
Device Information: Device model, operating system, IP address, and unique device identifiers.

3. Background Location Tracking

LORA Security is a professional security coordination platform. The App requires continuous access to your device's location services to function correctly.

We collect real-time location data, including background location data (when the App is not actively in use or is closed):

To track security guard patrol routes and verify presence at assigned posts.
To coordinate emergency dispatch and locate officers nearest to active incidents.
To monitor shift compliance and generate automated time cards.

You can enable or disable location tracking via your device settings, but disabling this feature will prevent the App from being used for active security operations.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our services, specifically:

To authenticate user sessions and securely process logins.
To enable guard scheduling, shift exchanges, and team communications.
To generate incident reports and dispatch security personnel.
To comply with regulatory standards and professional licensing requirements.
To send push notifications and security alerts regarding your shifts.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We value your trust. We do not sell or lease your personal data. Your information is only shared under the following conditions:

With Employers/Clients: Guard tracking, check-ins, and reports are shared with your respective security organization and client site administrators.
Service Providers: We may share data with cloud providers, mapping APIs, or SMS brokers who assist in delivering our services under strict confidentiality terms.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authorities to protect safety or property.

6. Account Deletion & Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with labor laws and licensing regulations.

How to delete your account:

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. You can submit an account deletion request through:

The settings menu inside the LORA Security App under "Delete Account".
Through our public Account & Data Deletion page, which does not require you to sign in or reinstall the App.

Upon verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal data within 30 days. Incident, safety, payroll, billing, audit, fraud-prevention, and compliance records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law or legitimate business obligations. Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before automatic deletion. Retained records are access-restricted and are not used for marketing.

We implement robust security measures including end-to-end data encryption in transit (HTTPS/WSS) and at rest (AES-256), automated security threat detection, and restricted access privileges for all backend servers to safeguard your data.
